The Dollhouse Project started in 2023 with the mission of bringing more play and diversity to children through dolls.
Our flagship event, Dollhouse Day, is a free, kid-centered experiential popup that transforms an existing space into an exciting and interactive playland. The highlight is a floor-to-ceiling wall filled with dolls representing diverse features. During Dollhouse Day children are given the opportunity to actively participate by selecting a doll from this wall of their choice to keep, forever! Our events are free and supported by grants and donations to make sure as many kids can participate as possible.

What is Dollhouse Day?
Dollhouse Day is an event for kids ages 3-10. Each child attending receives a free doll, allowing them to see themselves and neighbors represented in the toys they play with.

Play is incredibly important for children dealing with stressful or difficult situations because serves as a powerful tool for their emotional well-being and development.
Can boys attend?
Dollhouse Day is for all children ages 3-10. Every event has a wide variety of dolls to choose from, there’s something every kid will love!
Can I send a doll to Dollhouse Day?
Yes! Visit our Donate page to check out our wishlists—dolls will ship straight to us for use at a future event!
Are these events free?
Yes, admission is free, and advanced registration is required to ensure we have enough dolls for everyone. We are funded by grants and donations. Join our email list to find out when new events are scheduled!
